| REMARKS: | Strange reel, a mixture of high quality components like brass gears and aluminium housing and rotor together with a high quality aluminium spool with probaly high production cost. The reel has also cheap components like plastic house cover and plastic parts for the bail control. Bail system not so good and bad drag system. This 218 is probaly the best version in the 2 series of Mitchell reels. There is also a 218S version, this version is of a later date and has more plastic components like the bail, AR knob and spool. |
