Wanna swapp coins?

You can get all the coins of the world if you have enough money.
We don't have it. So we like to swapp.

A professional collector grades his coins in F, VF, XF, Unc and BU. An uncirculated coin has more value than the same coins which is used. A professional collector looks at the grades and values as mentioned in books like the Standard Catalog of World Coins from Krause Publications.

We don't grade our coins. We only bought a few new uncirculated coins but the most are used. Some have a few scratches, some are more "used". We swapp normaly 1:1, but there are exceptions. If you offer 10 german eurocents and want 10 special 2-eurocoins instead, than we think is not a fair swap. Most of the time by sending some emails we will come to an agreement. Sometimes scans of coins can help a swapp.

How you can swapp coins with us?
These are our rules:
  1. We swapp coins with one collector at a time. It means, when we swapp, there are no resevered coins in our list. All coins are available. It also means that it takes a lot of time. So please realize, we can't swapp right away with you. At this moment (jun 2010) there are a lot collectors waiting for swapping coins with us. If you want to swapp coins with us too, keep in mind that it will be 2012 before we can swapp. If you like to swapp, ask us to put you on our waitinglist.
  2. At this moment (2011) we're started to post our collection and doubles on www.numista.com. When we're done we will swapp coins with other collectors on this website because this site will tell us imediately which coins are interesting to swap for both collectors. So, start you own list at this site.
  3. Look at our doubleslist which coins you want to have.
  4. Write in your mail the name of the country, the denomination, the year and the KM#-number of the coins you want. If you want a picture of the coin (because we wrote "poor" or otherwise), mail us and we will scan it for you.
  5. Tell us how you want to trade (a coin for a coin or otherwise).
  6. Tell us also how you will send the coins. (all-in-one or in more sendings) and if you register you post or not.
If you do send your coins first by registered mail and our coins will accidently not arrive, we will ask the postagency to start an investigation. Such investigation will take 3 month. After te postagency tells us our coins are not delivered and they paid us, we will pay you. If you do not have a bankaccount and we have to send the money to you by Western Union we will pay 50% of te cost of sending money.
  7. Tell us which coins you have for trading. Send your list as an attachment (Excel-file prefered).
  8. Tell us where we can find your name on the internet as a good trader. If you can't, you send your coins first.
  9. Send your mail to our email: coins@henk.mienadres.nl
